It’s the weekend when they release bad news so we ignore it, including bad poll numbers, resignations, etc. Be aware. Dead fish anyone?
Scope it, as in Horoscope: Just scratch it already.
Bonehead Tip of the Day: Reverse the field on someone this weekend. Why? Here’s a start: RECALLS: Is anything really safe? Is there really something called “clean energy”? Germ free? Come on. Are storms bigger on the East Coast just because they report from there? Do you really want thousands of wind mills lining up in the ocean or on your land? How about finding the clean energy first and then putting it to use instead of putting thousands out of work while we wait? Or, use all forms of energy and let the market decide? Do we really want every car run by electricity? As for reusable bags. No way, there are too many germs in there.
Mixed Signals: Obesity problem yet eating contests are thriving. Do not use the phone and drive yet watch that GPS screen. Let the car drive itself so you do not have to pay attention. TEXT: All or nothing should be the rule. These piecemeal laws are annoying. Vote for change but get yelled at because you are angry. If we all got along, life would really be boring. Some thrive and succeed on the other notion.
Trivia: Berbel Zimmer was a big woman. No misprint, someone named her Berbel. Anyway, she had to wear a bra that was reinforced with metal wire. Things were fine at first until she decided to take a walk in the park on a stormy day. You got it. She was struck by lightning and killed. She was born Berbel and died Berbel.
Closer: On Dave Ramsey’s radio show came this: “Some people spend $25,000 on college a year to play Beer Pong and watch TV.”
