Scope it, as in Horoscope: Just look around your place today and think about the things that you have that you have never bought. NEVER.
Bonehead Tip of the Day: Yes, it’s time to head to a Ma and Pa Store and demand a Big Box. Can you get a Big Box at a smaller store or are they reserved for the oversized, buy everything including used underwear and Q-Tips stores?
What is worse? Waiting in line to check out with a cashier or being watched while you do it yourself. Wow, that’s what I need when I’m trying avoid being noticed. Caught this the other day when grocery shopping. A couple came in and the guy was drinking a cup of coffee. No, not one from a fast food place. A CUP OF COFFEE. And they were dressed in those pajama-style clothes. I took my Big Box and left.
The List: Top TV shows of the week.
1. “Dancing With the Stars Results” – 24.7 million viewers
2. “Dancing With the Stars” – 23.7 million
3. “NFL Sunday Night Football” – 19.1 million
Notes: “NCIS” continues to be the top rated drama on TV and does pretty darn well in reruns on USA as well. “Two and a Half Men” is still the highest rated sitcom, for reasons unknown. “Modern Family” is the best, however, as last week’s episode proved. Meanwhile, the rerun episode on Thanksgiving was perhaps the best half hour of a sitcom in a long time, for any show. I have gone away from “House” this year and I’m not the only one. We tend to shy away from profiling but “Criminal Minds” doesn’t care and and is popular. And it’s good.
Trivia: The sun is indeed closer to me during winter, but the earth is tilted on its axis. Much like my Uncle Willie after a few drinks. Cows and my uncle chew 18-19 hours a day but not in a figure-eight pattern. How did that last part get in there? A camel does chew in a figure-eight pattern, though. A certain sea squirt in Japan eats its own brain because, frankly, it doesn’t need it. Christianity helped spread the hospitals around. Buckles came first my friends. That is, they came before shoelaces.
