The 2010 Little League World Series schedule heads to day 7 on Thursday. The Little League World Series schedule has already been extremely exciting, already providing us with six great days of Little League Baseball over the past week Now we have only a few games left before the championships, everything is on the line for these kids. The 2010 Little League World Series Schedule for day 7 has two games on Thursday, August 26, with both serving as elimination games for the United States pool play.
Wednesday had two games that led up to the 2010 Little League World Series Schedule on Thursday night, led off by Hawaii vs. Ohio to decide which team could advance to play undefeated Georgia. It was an elimination game that Ohio led for a while, but they ended up giving up too many runs late, and despite allowing only one hit (a three-run home run), they lost 6-4. Walks, errors, and hit batters brought an end to the Ohio run at the 2010 Little League World Series.
This is the first game between the two teams, and that means there could be an additional game on Friday if Hawaii can pull off the win. Georgia just has to win on Thursday and they will advance to the United States Championship Game
The final game of the night might have been the best one, as Texas and Washington played to decide the Pool B champion. Texas took an early lead, but Washington stormed back to not just take the lead, but win the game 7-4. By winning on Wednesday, Washington forced another game on Thursday, which will be the elimination game for both teams. The winner from Thursday’s Washington vs. Texas game will advance to the 2010 United States Championship Game on Saturday.
