2010 Little League World Series scores will come in for day 7 of the tournament. The 2010 Little League World Series scores from day 7 (Thursday) include two extremely important games from the United States bracket. Pool play could come to an end today based on these two games, and we could be looking at the match-ups for the 2010 Little League World Series Championship Games by the end of the day. Hawaii might have something to say about that though, because they are trying to advance out of their pool’s loser’s bracket, and can force one more pool game on Friday.
On Wednesday night, both Hawaii and Washington won their games, sending them to the next game on Thursday against teams that had been waiting (undefeated) at the top of the U.S. pools. Washington beat Texas 7-4, forcing a second game that will now be played on Thursday afternoon. This second Washington vs. Texas game will decide the Pool B winner, with the loser heading home from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It should be a great game, and if Wednesday night was any indication, fans are in for another treat on Thursday.
Over in Pool A, Hawaii beat Ohio 6-4 on Wednesday to advance to the championship game of that pool against Georgia. If Georgia wins the game, they win Pool A, and advance to the United States Championship Game on Saturday. If Hawaii wins though, there will be a second Georgia vs. Hawaii game that gets played on Friday. Both teams look like they really want to win the 2010 LLWS, and it will be very interesting to see which team advances to play the winner of the Washington vs. Texas game.
