2011 sees a wave of creative trend setting, “Do It Yourself” Bride’s, who are looking at frugal ways to cut spending costs, on some of their wedding day logistics, a couple of which, can end up costing hundreds of dollars.
One of the areas targeted for cutting costs by frugal spending, is the wedding favor, but frugal spending doesn’t mean turning to the now dated favor of, “three” wedding almonds enclosed in a ribbon tied, tulle circle.
Instead 2011 brides seem to be carefully researching crafty ways to creatively add a special element to their wedding as they save money in the process. Hence, the coffee bean.
Whilst some brides seem to be opting for colorful imprinted paper bags and well stocked serve yourself candy buffets, other’s are making favors that involve sharing time with their bridal party, during the construction of their creative designs.
Two of the latest trends to hit the DIY scene, is buying richly flavored coffee beans or decadent dark chocolate covered espresso beans, both of which are available in bulk and can be shipped if not available in your local area. Suppliers will even ship chocolate to warmer states by packing them with cold packs to ensure that the product arrives in good condition.
With wedding day theme in hand, and bridal colors picked and ready to go, more and more bride’s seem to be going in search of mini pull string organza bags, which can often be found in an assortment of colors, at their local discount store or from on line wedding related retail suppliers.
With carefully measured fresh roasted or chocolate covered coffee beans, the delicate pouches are filled and tied and often include individually wrapped biscotti, and DIY gift tag from the bride and groom as the finishing touch.
The fresh coffee bean aroma is amazing and this favor on the tail end of 2010, will definitely be a popular trend in 2011.
