Do you ever have one of those days where you wish you could just press a button and “poof”, the day begins again; better (of course) then the first time?
The answer is yes. We all have those days. Sometimes we can pull ourselves out of the funk; and sometimes it seems as though the day will never end. Fortunately, there are 3 great ways to restart your day with little or no effort on your part.
3 Great Ways to Restart Your Day
(1) Close your eyes; begin breathing in through your nose and out your mouth. Release any feelings of negativity you may be having. Chase those harmful thoughts away with harmless thoughts (e.g., cute bunnies, furry kittens, or cheeseburgers, etc.) about whatever makes you smile.
(2) Be thankful. Think about all the blessings in your life. Think about each person, place or thing – individually, if this helps. By the time you get to the end of your thankful list, you may just have forgotten who or what made you so miserable and then can restart your day, your way.
(3) Go back to bed. That’s right. Crawl back in bed, no matter what time of day it is. Spend 10 minutes just laying there and reflecting upon the first two great ways to restart your day. Then hop back up and out (the other side) and get on with your – new – day.

Some days are just worse than others. No matter what you do, the day just plain s*%&ks! But if you try one or more of the above 3 tips for restarting your day you may just find that you can live the day and be better off at the end of it.
Because if you work diligently in the belief that life is to be lived; rather than stumbled through – you will discover that most days are actually better than others.
And yes, I subscribe to the theory that the glass is half full; not half empty – unless, of course, I am thirsty; then all my optimism flies out the window. Until I fill that glass up again. Do yourself one small favor each day: live healthy – mind, body, and spirit – the best way you can.

Please Note: These 3 great ways to restart your day may be implemented almost anywhere. I do not recommend attempting to meditate while you are behind the wheel of a car; and I don’t suggest that you bring your bed to work, either. Unless of course, you don’t mind causing someone else to want to push the “poof” button. Sometimes it is really just all about compromise – and that means in all your life. Good luck to you daily, in all you do!
