There are different jackets for different occasions. Some are more casual and on the go while others are more appropriate for a fancy dinner. Consider adding the following different types of jackets to your wardrobe as they are very stylish and functional.
A Trench Coat
A trench coat is a classic. Every woman should have a trench coat. Buy a trench coat that is comfortable for the area you live in. For example when I lived in Arizona, the winters there weren’t too cold so I had a light khaki trench coat that kept me warm without overheating my body. But since I have moved to the San Francisco bay area I have a heavier black, wool trench coat as well since the air is a lot more frigid here. A classic trench coat falls at about the knee but there are so many different colors of trenches that its best to find one that compliments your body the most. A Military Style Jacket
Military style jackets are very popular these days. They are great for a casual look. Military style jackets look best in navy blue , black, or army green since traditionally those are the colors most service men use. Military jackets can be found at Forever21.com.
A Black Blazer
A black blazer is must have item. Black blazers are great for work and transform easily into night out apparel if happy hour is your sort of interest after a hard days work. A well fitted blazer should taper in at the waist, not be too tight around the shoulders, and the cuffs should fall at the wrists when hands are down at the sides.
Cape jackets come in many different styles, lengths, fabrics, and cuts. Find the one that best suits your style. Depending on the fabric the cape can be worn with many different outfits. If the cape is a knit it can be worn in the fall over jeans or a dress. But if the cape is a deep luxurious wool it can be worn over a more fancy looking outfit. A longer cape is used for more formal occasions while a shorter cape can usually dual as formal and casual. This picture right here shows celebrities wearing different types of cape jackets.
