Gordon Biersch provides a large and seasonally inspired menu featuring upscale American pub style food. You’ll find delicious appetizers and bar treats, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and more. There’s also a large drink menu, but a trip to Gordon Biersch has to feature one of their specialty microbrews. A new beer is available per season, but the year-round offerings include their Czech Pilsner, Marzen, Hefeweizen and Golden Export. The lively bar scene is great for a game or a happy hour.
La Tasca – 141 Gibbs St.

All of the dishes here are composed of tasty, fresh ingredients and great flavor combinations, and the portions are huge. There are healthy options on the menu, and a full smattering of lunch sandwiches and specials, but breakfast is where it’s at and you might need to indulge with one of their Sensational Skillets or other morning plates.
