Have you ever felt like breaking a rule? Have you ever been out walking and want to cross the street in the middle of the road? If there are no cars I love to walk across even if there is not a cross walk. I don’t see why I need to walk all the way over to where the cross walk is when there is no traffic on the road.
I also cross the street when the cross walk light is red; if there are no vehicles coming. You need to look at all the roads in the intersection before you start to cross so you are safe. I don’t see what is wrong with it if no one else is around.
Bike trails are beautiful and I like to take a short walk on them even when it is prohibited to walk on them. I stay way over to the side and watch and listen for bikers. If one comes along I get out of the way. You need to be real careful when you do it especially on curves.
Snowshoeing on snowmobile trails can be dangerous and I really haven’t done it but I do think about it. They are so pretty and they wind into woods and near rivers. Someday I just might do it but I am sure you need to be very careful and listen for them coming your way.
I also like to take a hike in the woods around our place. These woods belong to neighbors and they are not exactly prohibited but they are against the rules. I take my dogs with me when I go and I always feel like I am getting away some something naughty. I guess I am.
After writing this I feel that I wish I could walk anywhere I please. It would be nice if the world could be shared by everyone and we all could go where every we pleased without offending anyone. If you go somewhere you shouldn’t you should be quiet so you don’t disturb anyone else. You should never do anything that would harm or damage anything. These are rules that I do follow.
I guess I am not all that bad when I walk where I shouldn’t since I do pick up garbage if I see some along my path. The garbage is left by someone else who was probably walking where they shouldn’t.
