Acne can be terrible. Acne can be hard very hard to control, and very difficult to get rid of. Try one of these 5 easy tips, and they will help you control and fight acne.
#1 Keep your make up brushes clean
If you don’t clean your make up brush’s regularly, Bacteria, oil, and dirt will build up and cause you to break out. You should run your make up brush’s through hot water, and clean them with baby shampoo at least once a week.
#2 Drink water
Drinking water is a great way to keep your face clear. Not only is water is proven to increase blood flow to the skin, it also remove waste from your body. Excess waste in your body can contribute to acne. By drinking at least 8 glass’s of water a day, it will help keep your face clear of acne.
#3 Ice up your face
If you feel a blemish starting to form, place ice on the area. As you may know, cold compresses reduce inflammation and swelling. By applying ice to the area, it will reduce how big the pimple is when it surfaces. By doing this it may also make the pimple go back into your pores, and prevent it from even forming.
#4 Stop touching your face
All though touching, and rubbing your face is a habit throughout the day is a hard habit to break, you should try your hardest to break this habit. Your fingers contain bacteria, and oil. When you touch your face, it spreads this bacteria and oil to your pores. Bacteria and oil are both large contributers to acne. If you can’t break the habit of touching your face, you should wash your hands regularly.
#5 Stop stressing
When you are under stress, your body produces hormonal steroids. The chemicals which are in hormonal steroids irritate your skin, and cause acne. While it is hard to not stress out sometimes, it is rather easy to calm down and prevent stressful situations. When you are stressed, try taking a hot bath filled with a lavender scented bath oil. Lavender is known to reduce stress by relaxing you. When you become stressed you should also try to isolate your self from everyone, and meditate. Try to recognize certain situations which cause you to stress out, and do your best to avoid them.
