Uncorked & Unplugged, one of the Valley’s premier annual taste events, is pleased to announce Acacia Vineyards and Rosenblum Cellars as the featured wines during the event, which is set for Sunday, October 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Desert Ridge Marketplace. All event proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.
Since 1979, Acacia Vineyards has grown to be one of the top vineyards in Napa Valley. The region’s cool, windy Northern California climate in particular makes Acacia a leader in producing exquisite handcrafted Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.
Rosenblum Cellars has been accredited as one of the top American wineries and dubbed as a “mecca for zin-fanatics.” Founder and Winemaker Kent Rosenblum and wife Kathy established Rosenblum Cellars in 1978 in Oakland, Calif. Rosenblum Cellars’ wines have been awarded over 20 90+ Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast awards in the last four vintages.
Now in its seventh year, Uncorked & Unpluggedoffers a variety of gourmet foods, three stages of live entertainment, and the opportunity to sample premium wines such as A by Acacia and Rosenblum among many others and spirits as well as domestic and imported beers.
