H is for Hors d’oeuvres, must have enough;
A is for Apple pie, a delectable delight;
N is for Nuts, we need pecan pie too;
K is for Kiwi adorning the punch;
S is for Stuffing and plenty of it;
G is for Gravy and lots of that too;
I is for Ice cream on top of the pies;
V is for Vegetables; squash, turnip, and such;
I is for Ideas for garnishing the meal;
N is for Nog, a strong ale or eggnog.
G is for Giving Thanks for all of the above.
