Allie brushed her long black hair, and put a coat of black nail polish on her nails. It was ten o’clock and she was eager to go out and meet some guys. The men in her past did nothing to satiate her appetite and she was starved of warm companionship. As she hurried about, Allie did not bother to look in the mirror, not that it mattered anyways.
She was a pretty girl with a pale complexion and dark features. Her hair was almost black and her eyes even darker. She was slim and slender and every guy who laid eyes on her were hypnotized. They all wanted to get to know her the moment she stepped foot into a room.
She wished her potential mates lasted longer than a night. She was never good in relationships. She always did something that killed it for her before she even got into one. She felt guilty and had many regrets, and it seemed her actions always got her nowhere. Guys always found her a little off and none wanted to see her again.
She was different from the other girls. Allie used to be the girl who did everything the right way. She was moral and good. She never cursed, never lost her patience, and was always kind. She went to church and helped the needy. But that all ended a night many years ago. Then, the nice Allie everyone knew died and she was born again. She succumbed to her primal self and her wild side. She now does what she wants, and when she wants to. There is no one to answer to. She partied hard almost every night and had several men stringed along.
But even this new lifestyle became old and stale. She was sick of being lonely and tonight, she was looking to change everything. She wanted a companion more than anything. She wanted someone to laugh with, to hold, to live, and experience life with.
As Allie arrived at the party, she noticed a very good looking man about six two and with the most gorgeous set of green eyes she had ever seen. She felt something she had never felt before. He glanced her way and locked eyes with her. Allie knew immediately that she wanted this man’s affections. She could feel that he was different than all the other guys she wasted time on.
She nervously looked away and pretended not to notice the strong attraction she felt. Allie decided to grab a drink. She was usually confident, but something about this guy made her extremely weak in the knees. After a few drinks she would surely be able to approach this handsome fellow. As she leaned against the table, she kept looking in the man’s direction, only for him to notice. He knew she was checking him out and she knew that he was looking at her.
Eventually, the man cornered her in one of the rooms at the party and introduced himself. His name was Josh. Allie fell in love almost immediately without knowing much more than his name. He was kind, smart, very attractive, and his eyes kept Allie in a trance. She never in her life acted like such a little school girl. She felt foolish for her behavior. She had plenty of experience with mingling with the opposite sex and this was not her first time.
Josh seemed not to notice how Allie fumbled around to speak complete sentences around him. But she soon relaxed and began having a good time.
After spending much the night learning about each other, Allie asked Josh to step out on the patio for some fresh air. Allie did not need it, but it as a good reason to get Josh alone. She wanted to kiss him and hold him tight. She wanted to feel his warmth next to her cold, clammy self. She kept thinking how different he was from all the other men she has ever met.
They were looking into each others’ eyes. They were finally alone, and Josh’s head moved in towards hers. She thought that this was the moment she has been waiting for a long time. Allie craved this moment. There was something about Josh that drive her wild, something that defied the laws of nature. Allie had him right where she wanted. As his head came closer, his mouth bypassed hers and landed on her neck.
Allie let out a scream when she felt the pain in her neck. As she felt blood run down the side of her neck, she then realized why Josh was different. He was a vampire, and he had just bitten her.
