It may sound boring to some, but with all the hands-on exhibits, there is sure to be something everyone in your family will enjoy. Learn about all things technical and mechanical, or pretend to be a fighter jet pilot. Curious children and adults alike will enjoy seeing how machinery and technical equipment work.
Forest Playground at Eghjorten
Children can let their imaginations run wild as they explore the extensive playground here in Fredensborg. Made of natural materials, children can balance, crawl, climb, and play to their hearts content. It is a beautiful place for parents to relax. It makes for a nice picnic spot as well, complete with a fire pit for barbecuing.
Castle Lake in Hillerod
A ferry here will take passengers on a tour around a stunning castle lake during the summer. Nature lovers should be sure to visit the baroque gardens and see if there are any swans around to feed.

In Helsingor is an aquarium that offers a hands-on experience. Here you can touch starfish, scallops, and other sea creatures. It is within walking distance to the train station and in the same general area as the Danish Maritime Museum and the Danish Museum of Science and Technology. These three attractions are all included with the Copenhagen Card.
