Brownstoner reported yesterday that Dubuque, a new burger joint at 548 Court Street (Court and 9th) is finally open after several months of anticipation.
The first word of its imminent development came back in May of this year and indications then were that it would be burger place with some “fancy touches” like truffles.
Now that it’s open, 5 months later, we are treated to a menu of lamb, pork and beef burgers “all for around 12 bucks” reports Brownstoner.
Twelve dollars seems a little steep for a burger place but by not exactly unreasonable (earlier this week we wrote about a new restaurant that began serving a $16 lunch-only burger in Cobble Hill; read about that here).
The place is really small and cozy too, looks like some bar seating (see inside photos here) with room for only a couple tables.
We haven’t gotten in to try it yet and nobody has given any reviews yet that we can find, so we will have to wait until we get a chance to get in there and snag a Lamb Burger (we’re actually very excited about this one, have to admit).
We’ll let you know how that goes.
