I love many Thai style chow mein dishes. Recently, I came across Nissin Thai Peanut Flavor Chow Mein in the unrefrigerated dinners section of my local grocery store. This meal looked great. I decided to purchase it, try it and write an unbiased product review all about my experience with it. Here is what I discovered!
I was thrilled when I saw this product at my favorite grocery store. Nissin Thai Peanut Flavor Chow Mein was only eighty-seven cents. That very low price was amazing to me. What a bargain! This is a single serving dinner. It has Thai spicy flavor, straight cut premium noodles, along with cashews in it and lots of special seasonings including liquid and powder forms. That impressed me. I could not wait to taste this meal.
This dinner is perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare it. I only had to unwrap the box, peel the lid back, take out the three packets, fill the tray with water and microwave on high for five minutes. I then peeled the cover all the way off, mixed the packages of nuts, liquid seasoning and powdered seasoning in with the noodles and stirred well. That was it. This dish is easy to cook and it smelled and looked wonderful.
When I tasted Nissin Thai Peanut Flavor Chow Mein, I loved it. This dish has a rich peanut flavor and also, a very spicy Thai signature flavor. The combination of noodles, dried green onion flakes, garlic, cashew nuts, cilantro, shrimp extract powder and spicy spices really tasted good to me. This is a very different dish and it is yummy. Lots of hot spice and sass. The noodles cooked perfectly and were tender. This dish is a winner, in my opinion. The low price makes it worth a try. I thought it was tasty.
I rate this meal four stars out of five stars. I will be buying it again. It was so hearty and filling, I could not eat it all in one sitting and had leftovers. This product makes my money go a long way and I like that fact. One serving has only 280 calories in it. 130 of those calories are from fat. This dinner has 14 grams of total fat, 5 grams of saturated fat, 0 mg’s of cholesterol, 640 mg’s of sodium, 34 grams of total carbs, 2 grams of dietary fiber, 3 grams of sugars and 5 grams of protein. This dish does have vitamin A and iron in it. This product does contain soybean, wheat, milk, peanut, cashew nut and shrimp ingredients in it. It is made in a factory that manufactures eggs, tree nuts, shell fish and fish products.
I loved trying Nissin Thai Peanut Flavor Chow Mein and writing this product review about it. It is cholesterol free and so yummy. A spicy Thai meal that is easy to fix and affordable. Just add water. This dish saves me time spent in the kitchen and is a treat. Fantastic!
