I am a big fan of chicken noodle soup. When I came across a large can of Great American Fine Foods Condensed Chicken Noodle Soup in the canned soup section at my local Dollar store, I was intrigued by it. I decided to purchase this soup, try it and write an unbiased product review all about my personal experience with it. Here is what I discovered!
Great American Fine Foods Condensed Chicken Noodle Soup only costs one dollar. That is an astoundingly low price when you consider that this soup has six servings in it. Wow! The can is twenty-six ounces and I got a lot of chicken noodle soup for my money. I am not all that familiar with the Great American fine foods brand but, I was certainly willing to take a chance. This soup is low cal, I discovered. Each serving has only 60 calories in it. It is also low in fat. Fantastic! I could not wait to taste it.
This chicken noodle soup is perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare it. You do need to add one can of water to this soup and stir well before heating. I only had to pour the soup into a large microwave safe bowl, microwave, covered, for around seven minutes on high. That is if you heat the entire six servings at once. This soup goes a long way and it is quite a large amount. You can also divide up the servings and heat separately. This soup smelled very good and it looked great.
With this brand of soup, it is pure chicken noodles, chicken broth and chunked chicken, you get just that, I discovered. Chicken soup and lots of noodles. This soup is very tasty and it is very much like Campbell’s chicken noodle soup, taste wise. This soup has lots of chunks of chicken in it and I liked that! This is a good product. It is high quality and so food budget friendly, I could not help but fall in love with it. Very yummy and so affordable. I rate it four stars out of five stars. I will be buying this soup again. It is indeed a best one dollar meal find. This soup has only 60 calories in it. Just 10 of those calories come from fat. Superb! One serving has only 2 grams of total fat, one half gram of saturated fat, 10 mg’s of cholesterol, 680 mg’s of sodium, 7 grams of total carbs, 0 grams of dietary fiber, 0 grams of sugars and 3 grams of protein. This product does contain egg, wheat and soy ingredients.
I really enjoyed trying this soup and writing a product review all about it. This soup is a winner, in my book. I love a money saver and this one is a good one. I highly recommend it to chicken noodle soup fans. This soup is distributed by Bay Valley foods.
