Green Giant Healthy Weight Single Serving Mixed Vegetables are very affordable and they come in single serving pouches so, I can enjoy a single veggie side dish without worrying about making too many veggies. No leftovers. I like that. This creative side dish for one really impressed me with it’s uniqueness. It is a blend of black beans, sliced carrots, sugar snap peas and edamame, all in a light butter sauce. That sounded very good to me. Nothing like a light butter sauce to enhance veggies, in my book. I also love black beans and I was delighted to find them included in this unusual vegetable medley. I could not wait to taste these.
Green Giant Healthy Weight Single Serving Mixed Vegetables are low in fat with only one gram of saturated fat in them. They also have a good amount of fiber in them. Yay. Fiber is always welcome in my diet, especially if I enjoy eating it. These frozen veggies are perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare them. They are in a handy steam in the bag pouch. No venting required. Nice! I only had to place the pouch on a microwave safe plate and cook on high for four minutes. I emptied them into a dish and served these with some sliced ham and a green salad.
When I tasted Green Giant Healthy Weight Single Serving Mixed Vegetables, I liked them. They are fresh tasting and the veggie combo was certainly not boring. This fun veggie side dish added spice to my meal. All the veggies went well together and the light butter sauce made them tasty. This dish is also the perfect size, in my opinion. Fiber is well known to help maintain a healthy body weight, hence the name healthy weight. I rate Green Giant Healthy Weight Single Serving Mixed Vegetables four stars out of five stars. These are convenient and easy to prepare. I probably will be buying this product again.
