I love popcorn and I am always on the look out for a good popcorn deal. Recently, I came across Prime Time Premium Extra Butter Popcorn in the snacks section of my local Dollar store. I just had to purchase this popcorn, try it out and write an unbiased product review all about my personal experience with it. Here is what I discovered!
I bought a box of Prime Time Premium Extra Butter Popcorn for only one dollar. I really liked that very food budget friendly low price. Each box has four packs of popcorn in it. This popcorn is cholesterol free, I discovered. That is great! I tend to like lots and lots of butter on my popcorn and having a cholesterol free version of this treat is wonderful. Especially since this treat is also so affordable. Each bag will serve two and that is a bargain. I could not wait to taste this snack.
Prime Time Premium Extra Butter Popcorn is perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare it. I only had to place the bag in my microwave, right side up and cook on high for a few minutes. It did not take long. This popcorn looked and smelled good. Most of the kernels were popped and that fact did impress me very much.
When I tasted Prime Time Premium Extra Butter Popcorn, I liked it. It is good. For the low price, this product is worth the money I spent on it, that is for sure. Now, there are many other brands that are better than this one, in my opinion. It has a good butter flavor but, I still wanted a bit more butter taste, I must admit. This popcorn has a light feel and taste to it. Overall, it is decent, tasty and average, as popcorn goes. I rate Prime Time Premium Extra Butter Popcorn three stars out of five stars. I may buy it again. Prime Time popcorn is available in butter, butter light, extra butter, kettle corn, natural and hot jalapeno butter flavors. I want to try some other flavors and see how tasty they are.
One serving of Prime Time Premium Extra Butter Popcorn has 35 calories in it. 15 of those calories are from fat. It is cholesterol free. Unfortunately, the rest of the nutrition values are given in the form of un popped popcorn. No help there. Of course, we all will be eating this popcorn popped so, this company really needs to give a grams and milligrams value instead of a percent value, in my opinion. It is pretty low fat and diet friendly, as buttered popcorn goes. I have seen a whole lot worse, I will put it that way.
I enjoyed trying Prime Time Premium Extra Butter Popcorn and writing this product review about it. It is a fun and inexpensive snack. I love having buttered popcorn on hand for movie watching and quick snacking. This snack fits the bill, and while I still want more butter on it, I know, I don’t really need it.
