I am a big fan of chicken noodle soup. When I spotted a can of Venice Maid Foods Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup in the canned soup section of my local Dollar store, I was intrigued. I decided to purchase this soup, try it and write an unbiased product review all about my experience with it. This is what I discovered!
I purchased one can of Venice Maid Foods Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup for only one dollar. That is a bargain price and I loved it. Each can has two servings in it. I am not familiar with the Venice name brand of foods but, I discovered that this also a Hanover foods brand product. I do love many Hanover food products so, that fact delighted me. This soup has wide and curly egg noodles, carrots, chunks of chicken, celery, parsley and many other ingredients in it. I could not wait to taste it!
Venice Maid Foods Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup is perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare it. I only had to pour the contents into a microwave safe bowl, cover and heat on high for a few minutes. It smelled very good and looked great! When I tasted this chunky chicken noodle soup, I liked it. The broth has a different flavor and while it is not as tasty as Campbell’s, it is very rich and flavorful. The noodles are wide, tender, plentiful and yummy! The chicken is quite chunky and more than enough was there to please me. The carrots, celery and parsley are delicious and they make this soup good, that is for sure.
Venice Maid Foods Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup has an old fashioned and other country flavor to me, for some reason. Maybe it is the blend of spices. I rate this soup four stars out five stars. It is different and good. Crackers go well with it and there is lots of broth in this soup. One serving has 100 calories. Only 30 of those calories are from fat. One serving has 3.5 grams of total fat, only 1 gram of saturated fat, just 5 mg’s of cholesterol, 910 mg’s of sodium, 11 grams of total carbs, less than 1 gram of dietary fiber, 1 gram of sugars and 5 grams of protein. Yes, the sodium is high in this soup. This product does contain eggs and wheat ingredients. A serving has a small amount of vitamin A and iron in it.
I enjoyed trying Venice Maid Foods Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup and writing a product review all about it. While I do like some other brands better, this one is affordable and good. For more information about this and other Venice brand or Hanover products, you can visit the hanoverfoods.com website.
