It is located in the northwestern corner of Chicago about 17 miles northwest of the Chicago Loop. Chicago Midway International Airport, also known as Midway Airport or simply Midway, is an airport managed by the Chicago Airport System, which also oversees operations at the O’Hare and the Gary Chicago. It is located in the southwest side of the city about 8 miles of the Chicago Loop. The airport is only about 10 miles from downtown Chicago. It mostly flies passengers around the United States, while also offering limited international service. It is also a hub for a number of domestic airlines.

The Gary Chicago International Airport is operated by the Gary Chicago Airport Authority. It is located about 3 miles northwest of the central business district of Gary, a city in Lake County, Indiana, and about 25 miles southeast of the Chicago Loop. It serves the Chicago metropolitan area and it supplements Chicago’s major airports O’Hare and Midway. The airport accommodates a variety of cargo aircrafts. Although it currently does not offer commercial air service yet, it offers charter and cargo air services. Businesses like Boeing, Menards, and White Lodging Services also base their corporate aircrafts in this airport. It is also home to a National Guard installation.
