Who would have thought that America’s Got Talent would actually find some talent? They started slow and boring, but now it is down to the wire, and the finalists are ready to get their million dollars. This is in addition to a gig in Las Vegas.
Singers and dancers make up this final group. A magician who has mystified both the judges and the audiences is trying to win it all, also. The dynamic appeal of a group that defies gravity is another stand out.
The list goes on and the sad part is that they all have talent. I am sure that some tears will be shed, as they are eliminated. I wager that the good ones will be offered some kind of entertainment contract, even if they don’t get the big prize.
Jackie Evancho will probably be the winner in the singer category. She has a voice that cannot compare to the others. However, it is hard to picture her on stage in Las Vegas, at her young age.
Prince Poppycock is definitely close to getting into the top four, also. He deserves to be on Broadway with his voice and his irresistible flare for the outrageous.
Jeremy Vanschoonhoven is definitely talented, but when matched with the others, he is not going to be chosen.
He is a real trouper in that he has survived injury to keep competing.
Anna and Patryk, the two young dancers, are extremely talented. They are matched with Studio One Young Beast Society and Fighting Gravity. I think that they will be eliminated and Fighting Gravity might be the winner. Once again, it is hard to see two young children in a Las Vegas show.
Michael Grasso has the “in” hands down in my book. He is a great magician and I can visualize going to see him in Vegas.
Michael Grimm is a gifted singer. I think he might have a chance to get in the finals, if the voting audience pulled him through. He could draw in the crowds in Vegas, I am sure.
These final acts have made a slow show turn into an exciting “fight to the finish” event. It is highly evident that all of the acts have practiced and really want the taste of success and the big prize. I am sure that there will be many tears as the final four are chosen.
All have been outstanding in their presentations and I know that these alumnae of the show will be seen again in the entertainment world.
The judges were very pleasant on the September 7Th show. They offered no harsh criticism, and I especially thought they were comforting to Anna when she had the misstep in her dance number.
