If you are using the Elfin Photo Editor, this tutorial will show you how to apply textured effects to your photos. There are many textures to choose from in Elfin Photo Editor. You can also change the amount of texture that is applied to the photos. Some textures look great on photos, other textures don’t seem to look as good. To get started with this tutorial, you will need to load the photo you want to apply the texture too.
Once you have your photo opened, you will need to click your effects menu at the top of your program. Once the effects menu opens, place your mouse on the Art Effects option. When the sub-menu opens, look for the texture option and click it. That will open the texture box and you will see a texture applied to the photo.
In the texture effects box, you can select the texture you want to use and you can choose how much of the texture will be applied to the photo. In the top of the box, you will see the drop down box. Drop the box down and select the type of texture you want to use. Then use the settings bar to adjust how much texture is applied. The close to zero you move the bar, the less texture you will see. The closer to 100 you move the bar, the more texture you will see.
When you have the texture the way you want it on the photo, you can click the OK button to apply it. If you want to go back to the original settings, you can do so by clicking the Default button. When you click the Default button, you will see the effects that you seen when you first opened the box.
If you can’t find a texture you want to use on your photo and want to exit out of it, click the Cancel button on the settings box. This will close the texture box and no texture will be applied to your photo.
