Before I came across the Ultra Dry Rain Fresh for Men Antiperspirant & Deodorant product sold at ALDI Food Market stores, I used the Arm & Hammer Ultramax Antiperspirant Deodorant product. I had made the switch from the Speed Stick 24/7 brand to the Arm & Hammer brand because I found that I could typically get the Arm & Hammer antiperspirant and deodorant for less money in the stores due to sales and coupons and the product seemed to work roughly as well, only without the pleasant cooling sensation that some of the Speed Stick 24/7 products provided. The cooling sensation was nice, but not really worth the extra money that I had to pay in order to get it. With the Arm & Hammer product, the antiperspirant and deodorant did a reasonably good job of masking unpleasant body odor while reducing underarm wetness. While the deodorant portion of this product would pretty much block all odors associated with underarm sweating, the antiperspirant part of this product only reduced the amount of underarm wetness I felt by about fifty percent. Significant, yes, but the Ultra Dry Rain Fresh for Men Antiperspirant & Deodorant product worked better in reducing overall underarm wetness.
What I liked about the Arm & Hammer product was how smooth it went on and how well it disappeared after being absorbed by my skin. Once it has been applied, it disappears within an hour, however it continues to work. The clean and fresh scent was always pleasant and that scent would hold up very well even if I was sweating. I did not have to worry about embarrassing odors emerging and being noticed by people around me. Another nice thing about this antiperspirant was how after I applied it, there was no uncomfortable and unpleasant sticky residue. It was really a pretty good product overall, but I made the switch to the Ultra Dry Rain Fresh for Men Antiperspirant & Deodorant for two reasons. The first reason is I can get it for less money than the Arm & Hammer Ultramax Antiperspirant Deodorant product and the second reason is that antiperspirant and deodorant does a better job of limiting underarm sweating in hot weather. Thus, while that antiperspirant and deodorant may not smell quite as good as the Arm & Hammer brand, it is more efficient at fighting off wetness, and the less underarm wetness I feel and notice on my t-shirt, the more comfortable I am.
I will still purchase the Arm & Hammer Ultramax product from time to time, especially in the autumn and winter, when I have a coupon or its on sale and the final price ends up being below one dollar and fifty cents because I think the Arm and Hammer brand has a more pleasant scent than the Ultra Dry Rain Fresh product. During the autumn and winter, I do not need to worry about sweating nearly as much, so I feel okay using the Arm & Hammer product. During the hot summer months though, I switch back to the brand I am using now because it provides me with more wetness protection. I still do think that the Arm & Hammer product is a pretty good one and that is why I still purchase it occasionally.
