It’s officially fall! Who cares if it’s as hot as the sun? October is on the horizon and Halloween is looming! You suddenly feel the urge to watch scary movies, shop for costumes and put out your spooky decorations. But something is missing. You can’t quite put your finger on it. You can feel it on the tip of your tongue. Your senses are tingling. You need to be scared! No, not “Boo” scared. I mean honest to goodness, nightmare, chilled to your bones terrified! You need to visit a haunted house. Not the haunted houses you grew up with as a child. Today’s haunted houses have the most realistic, goriest ghouls you’ve ever seen. We’re talking majorly creepy. 13 Stories Haunted House in Kennesaw is not for the sqeamish. The legend is that it is so terrifying you must sign a waiver before entering. From goblins to ghouls, monsters to mutants, this is a great place to begin your haunting journey. Bunker 13 has been revamped into Maximum Evil, a true fear factory! Horrific experiments have brought about an experience so terrifying you may never visit another haunted house again! 13 Stories opens October 1, 2010. Combo tickets will get you into both 13 Stories and Maximum Evil. They are $22 per person. You can get VIP tickets for $35 and that will get you the chance to “jump” the line, but I really don’t recommend it unless it’s the week of Halloween. You can purchase tickets online for an add’l $3 charge. Again, I don’t really recommend doing that either. I do recommend visiting their website and printing their super awesome coupons. The dates on the coupons vary so pay close attention. For more information, visit www.13storieshauntedhouse.com .
Haunt Atlanta is a megadose of gore and goo. So frightening your hair may turn white! Venture into the Asylum if you are so bold. Once a psychiatric asylum, you will be terrorized by those left behind. It is truly a place of evil, a madhouse. One you might not survive. Werewolves, the undead and even a mythological minotaur all reside here! They have taken great care to provide you a safe tour of this exhibit. However, accidents do happen and they certainly can’t keep an eye on all of the viscious creatures roaming about. Haunt Atlanta is seriously scary folks and for that reason, 13 and older must enter with a guardian. Located at 1329 Boyd Ave., Atlanta, 30318. Tickets are $25 per person and I am told there are coupons avail. at local area restaurants and colleges. Become a facebook friend to Haunt Atlanta for special deals! In fact, bring many friends, you will not want to go this one alone! Netherworld offers two different attractions. The Gargoyle is filled with demons that have invaded our world and laid their eggs. Risk visiting him in The Acid Room, Drowning Tank and The Flesh Compactor and you may end up as yet another innocent test subject! Please note that Dead Salvage is extremely gory and may be too intense for younger audiences. Tickets prices are $22 per person for Gargoyle.
