“The Bachelor’s” Jake Pavelka must be better at being a pilot in real life than being on television. In an Us report, Pavelka was seen Oct. 24 on a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta to Augusta, GA. From the sounds of it, Jake wanted to keep the fact he’s back to being a pilot “quiet.”
“Bachelor” Jake Pavelka Back to Being a Pilot
“The flight attendant asked us not to tell anyone because he didn’t want it to be known,” a passenger told Us. “When they announced our captain they just said, ‘Your captain today is Jake’.”
Pavelka had an eventful year in 2010 as “The Bachelor,” getting engaged and breaking up with finalist, Vienna Girardi, appearing on “Dancing with the Stars,” and “Drop Dead Diva.” Jake wanted to pursue a career in acting, but his dreams of being a pilot in a new series may be of his own gig at an actual airline instead.
Jake Works on the Weekends – Not When Most Pilots Like to Work!
Another person reportedly saw “The Bachelor” star in the crew lounge in Atlanta.
Jake Pavelka’s rep has confirmed that he’s definitely working for Delta. In addition to the fact Jake’s a pilot again, someone noted his schedule being a weekend.
The source said to Us, “His 15 minutes must really be up. Because he is not only working, but on the weekend! Most pilots don’t want those shifts!”
If that’s true, is Jake starting at the very bottom at Delta in spite of the fact he’s reached celebrity status? A lot will be happy to know it doesn’t always mean a free ride.
“The Bachelor” Star Has New Girlfriend
Jake also has a new girlfriend, Meghan Jones, from his home town of Dallas, Texas. The two were seen Nov. 1 at a Hollywood event. They were also seen on “Dancing with the Stars” at the 200th episode. A day later the media got wind of the couple’s relationship. With Jake flying a plane, long distance shouldn’t be a problem.
Is Jake still pursuing an acting career and he hopes that piloting for Delta is just holding him over between acting jobs, or has he given up and decided he’s a better pilot than actor?
