Get a hearty farmer treatment at new bar and restaurant, Bar Agricole, with organic food and biodynamic wines from Spain, Austria, France and California. Founded by international bar insider Thad Vogler, the place has Mark Ellenbogen heading up the wine and the chef is Brandon Jew. The building features an herb garden and outdoor seating, and its custom concrete floors give it that industrial feel while skylights keep the space warm and cozy. It used to be a former Jackson Brewery, a very hip spot back in 1900. Bar agricole (415-355-9400) is at 355 11th street, between Harrison and Folsom, and is open from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, seven days a week.
