The board of supervisors recently received a report from the Audit and Oversight Committee concerning the Alemany Farmers’ Market. The week before, it had received a report concerning all of the park and recreational facilities in San Francisco. However, the farmers market is separate from those evaluations.
Within the document were several recommendations that are not yet shared with public. Whatever they may be, they did get several approvals from the members of the Board to make the indicated changes. Although it is not clear what those changes will be, they are most likely based upon information submitted by the public.
There have been many indications that the board is listening to complaints from the Bernal Heights neighborhood concerning the condition around the area of the Alemany Farmers’ Market. In particular, junk and litter abatement have been improved by allotting more funding for the project.
