The first time i tried Brazilian food I fell in love with it.The first one discovered it by accident just by shopping at the local farmers market at Fairfax and 3rd street. It is called Pampas Grill. I saw a big line next to the restaurant and people coming out with amazing plates of food from there. So I decided to give it a try as well. These was a huge selection of from salads and pastas to chicken, lamb and beef stake and much more. The staff were very polite and helpful. When I approached the register, it was something different that I experienced. They charge you for the weight of the food, they place your plate on the scale and calculate how much you have to pay. I Had a huge place of steak, lamb, veggies and pastas and I ended up paying $14.36. The food was amazing, the meats very juicy, just out from the grill and the veggies were crisp and fresh. I didn’t even finish my plate, because my eyes were bigger then my stomach.
If you want to impress your date, or to surprise your friend, the second place I recommend is Fogo the Chao, and authentic Brazilian Steakhouse. It is located in Beverly Hills, on La Cienega blvd. You are not going to be disappointed. They have an amazing salad bar, wonderful wine selection, and 15 cuts of meat that just keeps coming to your table. Let me tell you about this one. This place is nice, so before you come I would recommend to make a reservation and to dress up a little bit. Once you arrive, the escort you to the table. Right after you can go the the salad bar and choose from so many options like salads, pastas, cheese, and many more. After you come back to the table, every person has a card next to their plate. If you turn the card green, the staff keeps coming by with delicious cuts of meets and keeps offering you different meets. Once you are satisfied with your meats selection, you should turn the card to red, so they would stop coming by. If you want more meat late, you can just simply turn the card to green again and there we go again… What I am trying to say, that it is a really nice please.
And last but not least I recommend is Bossa Nova in Beverly hills on Beverly Dr. Their menu is very extensive, and they have the best Brazilian cheese balls out of all these places. Portions are very large, the prices are decent and best of all, they are open late, so you can go to eat there after a club late at night. I think at some days they close like at 4 am.
