It is Day 48 in the Big Brother has and there is a new sheriff in town. And that Sheriff is none other than Britney. Yes, the little feisty blonde from Arkansas won the last Head of Household competition so it’s her turn to call the shots.
The beginning of the show is full of scenes from last week when Matt used the Diamond Power of Veto and removed himself from the block and Kathy was eliminated. It was great to watch again as everyone is stunned that Matt kept such an important secret. Hayden thinks the Brigade is screwed. Before Kathy’s surprise elimination Enzo and Hayden told Matt that they were sending him packing. Since Matt didn’t go anywhere, he now knows that his alliance doesn’t have his back. Matt said that at least Hayden was straight with him and let him know that if in the end it were Hayden and Matt, that he thinks Matt would win so he would rather not leave him in the house. Matt felt Enzo was still being a little shady on the issue.
Brendon, who thought he had just as much sent Matt to the jury house with his girlfriend, is upset that the three-headed monster is still staying in the house. Ragan who says he spent the last week crying like a 40 year old woman watching Oprah, is ecstatic that his best friend in the house gets to stay. Enzo looks super worried because he knows that Matt has “seen our (the Brigades) cards” and couldn’t be too happy that his fellow Brigade members were going to send him home.
Everyone in the house contemplates who will go up this week. However, Matt and Ragan are flying high because they have a little alliance with Britney too. Ragan says he is so happy that he is going to have a full on freak out gay moment.
Matt doesn’t trust the Brigade anymore and finds it hard to believe that Hayden and Lane are sincere when they are celebrating with him over his coup to stay in the house.
It is now time to see Britney’s HOH room. Britney is happy but says that a picture with her in a furry pink dress and tiara has got to go. It does look like it a freaky prom or pageant picture that would have been great in the movie Carrie. The guys are surprised when they see Britney’s fiancé Nick in a photo. Hayden says Britney likened him to a Greek God or Super model and he looks more like a dork. Lane doesn’t think Nick looks anything similar to him and thinks Britney should get her eyes checked for even comparing him to Nick.
Back downstairs when Enzo is talking to Matt, he tells him that he is thinking about his wife. You know, the wife with the rare bone disease that Matt is playing for but not really since Matt is lying about that. Yeah, Enzo, you were thinking of her? Well were you thinking of her before or after you decided to send Matt home instead of Lane. Matt tells Enzo that the Brigade is his number one priority. I am thinking Matt means it will be his number one priority to make sure the members of the Brigade go to the jury house before he does. Matt sets out to reach this goal by throwing out Enzo’s name when he talks to Britney about eviction nominees. Matt argues that Enzo has never been put up and that he needs a taste of what it’s like to be in danger.
The Brigade decides to lift weights and Lane want to show why he is called “The Beast.” Lane wants to pile up every weight in the house and bench press it. After the guys stack on the weights, the total is 325 pounds. Beforehand Lane stokes himself up by talking to himself and smacking his own face a couple of times. After that, Lane lifts the 325 lbs. And I care because. In other, events to kill time in this pretty boring episode, Matt tells Britney and Lane that he has dreamed of a shirtless Hayden. Matt apologizes to his wife and says that being in the house does some crazy things to your mind. Apparently. Lane says that in Texas, even if someone did dream something that weird, they would never tell anybody.
Brendon goes to talk to Britney in the HOH room and tells her that he is going to win HOH next week and that he will put her up and make sure she leaves if she goes back on her word. He also reveals that last week Ragan and Matt threw her under the bus and told him to put Britney on that block. At this point, Britney doesn’t know who to trust.
The Have Not Competition has everyone dressed in their best cowboy and cowgirl gear as they mosey on to the saloon to have drink. The competition involves ordering drinks that are named after house guests. They are also very yucky and crazy concoctions like limburger cheese and carrot juice and caviar with soy sauce. There are two teams of three. The house guests take turns ordering drinks and taking shots. Two of the participants will get a tasty concoction and one will get the yucky mix. The other team has to guess which person drinks the bad shot. Ragan is determined not to be a have not because he has been one for 24 days and feels that he has reached his birth weight. He gets his wish as Lane, Matt and Ragan beat Hayden, Enzo and Brendon. America selected Broccoli and Bean Dip as the Have Not foods for the week and Hayden says that after eating the bean dip, nobody will want to be anywhere near him.
After the competition everyone wonders who Britney will put up. She says that it could be Matt as a pawn but Matt doesn’t want to be a pawn because he was up last week. The Brigade wants Matt up because they feel he is playing both sides of the house. Brendon says Britney better stick to their deal. In the end, Britney chooses Brendon and Enzo. Brendon because she thinks he was coming at her last week and Enzo because he has never been up. Brendon says Britney can’t be trusted because she went back on a promise and Enzo says its his game so Britney better watch out. It will be fun to see who wins the POV on Wednesday. Happy Watching!
