On October 23rd, 2010, the Birmingham Fire Department will be holding a CPR course at the Adams Fire Station. The cost to attend is $25 per person, and will start promptly at 8 am. This will be the fourth, and final Heartsaver CPR Course of the year. There will be a limit of twenty spots in this class, so if you want to participate, I urge you to call the Birmingham Fire Department as soon as possible at 248-530-1900.
Upon completion of this course, an AHA CPR card will be issued to all that attend. Keep in mind that these expire after two years. I attended one of these classes in the past, and not only do they teach you the basics of CPR, but they also train you in the use of a defibrillator. This course is more than worth the $25 that you will spend to take it.
