Birmingham is gearing up for a great Halloween this year with lots of special events, both in the city itself and in the surrounding areas as well. As the profile of the area gets higher, expect to see things both old and new as you wander Halloween weekend.
But pay attention to the stuff coming the week before as well. Chief among the events preceding Halloween weekend is the “Boo Blast Road Rally and After Party,” which takes place the week before Halloween. Strictly for the grown-up kids, the Boo Blast gives you clues to follow that take you through local points of interest and businesses before returning you to the Community House’s open bar.
The City will also hold its 74th Halloween Parade on the 24th at 4pm, but that event will be preceded by the 17th Annual Halloween Pumpkin Patch from 1-4. The parade is free, and the pumpkin patch will feature games and activities, as well as healthy snacks and crafting.
