Birmingham residents who would like to learn more about the city’s policies on buying, trimming and planting trees are invited to attend a roundtable on November 17. The special meeting is being held by the President’s Council of Neighborhood Associations. It will be held at the Department of Public Works Building, which is located at 851 South Eton Street. The meeting begins at 7pm and is open to the general public. Topics involving the city’s various tree policies will be discussed during the roundtable. It is hoped that the meeting will clear up any confusion that residents may have about planting, trimming and buying trees within the city limits.
