Birmingham’s farmers market is in its last month of operation. It is on Sundays in public parking lot six off of N. Old Woodward north of Harmon from 9 am – 2 pm. The last month promises to be a great one at the farmers market as many of the vendors will be able to feature their fall harvests.
Many will flock to the local cider mills in the area in the month of October, but the farmers market in Birmingham offers you and your family a fun Sunday afternoon. Fresh picked produce will provide your family a garden style meal for Sunday evening. The flowers that can be bought will give your home or office not only a beautiful fragrance but also a nice accent. There is always a nice range of homemade jellies and canned products that will give your meals many homemade memories.
While you are at the farmer’s market don’t be surprised if a local musician is there to entertain you.
The last Sunday (October 24th) will have many fun activities themed to Halloween. For more information, 248-530-1200.
