Blue Diamond Mint Dark Chocolate oven roasted Almonds taste cool and refreshing. Eating the crunchy almonds lightly dusted with mint dark chocolate puts me in a Christmas mood.
While doing the review of the Blue Diamond natural oven roasted almonds with mint dark chocolate flavor, I decided these almonds are now, by far, my favorite.
Although I do love almonds dipped in milk chocolate, these almonds are lighter with just a dusting of cocoa. I’ve also reviewed the Emerald Almonds Cocoa Roast, which are dark chocolate flavored almonds. As a comparison, I gave the Emerald almonds, which I liked, a 4 out of 5 stars. I give the Blue Diamond mint dark chocolate flavor a 5 out of 5 stars!
If you don’t mind sharing the mint dark chocolate almonds, they make a great after-school snack for children. They are also a great alternative to sugary Halloween candy, if you need something sweet to munch on instead of chocolate bars.

Packaged by Blue Diamond Growers in Sacramento, California, the product has no artificial ingredients and no cholesterol.
The ingredient lists includes almonds, sugar, cocoa powder, corn maltodextrin, natural flavor, sea salt and stevia extract or rebiana, making it a nice Halloween candy alternative to have in the house.
The fact that they used stevia, which is a natural plant-based sweetener, as opposed to artificial sweeteners, is a major plus in my book. Although the Blue Diamond mint dark chocolate almonds do contain some real sugar, using stevia brings down the amount of sugar needed to achieve the sweetness. The almonds have the same minty flavor as the mint chocolate Girl Scout cookies and the Andes mint chocolates.
It’s worth repeating to say: I give the Blue Diamond mint dark chocolate a five out of five stars! They got it exactly right. I plan to serve the mint dark chocolate almonds for the holidays, and will probably snack on them all year long.
