Some thoughts from last night’s episode:
More and more, I think Booth’s girlfriend Hannah won’t make it through the end of the season. She survived being shot this week so I don’t think it’ll be an issue where she is killed. But, I do think it will come down to her either being bored with him or accusing him of being over protective.
Speaking of Hannah, I wasn’t sure whether that part where she got Brennan’s sunglasses at the end was funny or just rude. She certainly doesn’t seem overly grateful Brennan saved her life (and I would sue the doctor who missed the extent of her injury).
I still don’t fully understand the science behind it (my youngest was distracting me a bit when they were explaining it). But, I loved how Angela figured out how to re-construct the victim’s skeleton using plastic. Hodgins figuring out how to get finger prints off of plastic that was buried under concrete was also cool but just didn’t quite match up.
On that note, was I the only one who got chills over the thought of a fungus that can actually turn human bone to dust in a matter of months? Hope I don’t accidentally ingest any of that.
The case wasn’t overly hard to crack. My wife and I were able to figure out the murderer before she was even a suspect. However, I loved how Sweets had to get clues by talking to a human bronze statue that only spoke in Shakespearean quotes. Stuff like that is what gives this show an edge over other crime shows on TV.
I’m not sure why, but I still preferred Brennan’s assistant Arastoo when he was speaking with the fake accent. I think it’s because, without it, he’s actually pretty ordinary and doesn’t really have anything about him that makes him memorable.
