There are lots of hotel resorts in Las Vegas. Every hotel resort in Las Vegas has a high end restaurant. With so many high end restaurants to choose from with limited time and funds it is hard to decide which restaurant that you should go to while in Las Vegas. This article can make it a little easier for you to know about one restaurant and you can decide if it is a good choice for you or not.
Bouchon is located at the Venetian in Las Vegas Nevada. The Venetian is one of the more popular Las Vegsa destinations and being the resorts top restaurant makes Bouchon very popular but does Bouchon deserve the popularity that it gets?
As you can imagine Bouchon is expensive. However the dress here is casual. You can find people wearing anything from shorts to suits here. While they do let any one in the evenings tend to be less casual. Kids are also not a sight you will see here with the price tag Bouchon is an adults only dinning option. You may want to make reservations in advanced since Bouchon is so popular and you may have a long wait otherwise.
It seems that people either love Bouchon or they think it is way overpriced and not really a great meal. It seems that what makes Bouchon a good experience is what you get. If you get their specialities then you will probably have a positive experience. If you do not get an item they are known for though you may be disappointed.
They are well known for their waffles and chicken. This may sound like an odd combination but they are popular. The waffles have bits of bacon inside too which makes it a more filling as well as more unique menu item. The waffles and chicken though are not the only thing they are known for. Bouchon also has a great selection of pastries.
Personally if I go to a fancy restaurant I choose something that I can only get at a high class restaurant such as veal, lamb, or duck. So for me going somewhere nice for waffles and chicken is silly. The saving grace is the pastries. I love when a high class restaurant has great pastries. I also do not like breakfast food though. I would suggest if you do go to Bouchon I would go for the brunch which is about $65. The brunch foods offer a good sampling of what Bouchon is known for.
If you like waffles and chicken then Bouchon is a good choice. If you like a good brunch then Bouchon is a good choice. While dinner at Bouchon may be fine with so many other spots in Las Vegas to go to I would skip dinner here.
