For three months now, I have been limiting my smoking to five to seven cigarettes per day. One of the ways that I try to quell urges for nicotine is to eat hard candies or chew bubble gum. One of the very best varieties of hard candy that I have found is Brach’s Sugar Free Cinnamon Hard Candy. These hard candies taste great, are long – lasting and they are also reasonably – priced.

The net weight of the standard – sized package of Brach’s Sugar Free Cinnamon Hard Candy is 3.5 ounces. According to the package label, the container holds approximately six 3 piece servings of candy. As with many other products, I think that this serving size is somewhat over – estimated.

In that respect, these candies work very well. Their long – lasting texture makes them a great substitute for a cigarette. Also, the overall mouth – feel offered by these candies is smooth and pleasant and quite similar to that of regular hard candies, but there is no sugar to be concerned about.

Taste / Flavor
These hard candies really do taste very good. When I was younger, I used to eat Brach’s candies fairly frequently and always thought that their delicious flavors, pleasant textures and overall high quality set them apart from most other brands of candy. It’s nice to see that Brach’s is still producing top – rate candies today.
To me, the level of cinnamon flavor in Brach’s Sugar Free Cinnamon Hard Candy is just right. Through the years, I have eaten many different cinnamon – flavored items and have encountered several products wherein the cinnamon flavor was too intense and others that offered somewhat – muted cinnamon flavor. If I didn’t know that these candies were sugar free and I ate one, I would think that it was a regular, sugared cinnamon hard candy.
These tasty candies are flavored with Splenda and I must say, no unpleasant and / or chemical taste that some artificial sweeteners deliver, is at all apparent with these candies.
Brach’s Sugar Free Cinnamon Hard Candy is packaged in an attractively – designed, green and red plastic bag. The bag is easy to open and re – close and the rear label lists all relevant ingredient and nutritional information. Also, each of these candies is individually – wrapped, which makes it easy to carry a few of them in one’s pocket or purse.
All things considered, Brach’s Sugar Free Cinnamon Hard Candy is a very tasty product that tastes every bit as good as regular, sugared candy. If you like cinnamon – flavored foods and / or are trying to avoid sugar, chances are you’ll really like these long – lasting hard candies. The cinnamon flavor tastes real and it is quite pleasing. These reasonably – priced sugar free candies are highly recommended by this food writer.
