As the Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger scandal is being investigated,TMZ reports a gambling website wanted Jenn Sterger to pose as their calendar girl. Sterger is the former New York Jets sideline reporter who alleges Minnesota Vikings quarterback, Brett Favre, sent her unwanted text messages and photos. Favre was a quarterback for the Jets at the time they were thought to be communicating in 2008.
Jenn Sterger Offered $50,000 to Be a Calendar Girl
The gambling website, Youwagers.com, emailed Jenn Sterger, stating they wanted her to be the calendar girl for their NFL lines department. She was offered $50,000 to do the gig.
“There was a significant amount of money offered but we have declined,” Sterger’s rep told TMZ.
Sterger reportedly considered the website’s offer at first, but her rep claimed it wasn’t the right decision given the whole Brett Favre scandal and unfavorable tabloid coverage.
The Vikings will go up against the Jets on Monday night’s game and Brett Favre is trying to concentrate on that and not be more distracted. A lot of investigations are underway with the NFL looking into the alleged cellphone messages and photos Favre sent to Jenn Sterger. The League has requested her cellphone records be handed over to determine if Brett Favre has violated any rules of conduct.
You can’t really blame the website for wanting Jenn Sterger to be their calendar girl. She’s in the spotlight and would certainly bring in a lot of views. This is probably the first of many more to come for the former sideline reporter.
