Brett Favre scandal – the NFL may need one more thing from Brett Favre before they arrive to a decision in their investigation as to whether or not he violated any league rules, ESPN.com’sJohn Clayton reveals. Since the beginning of the NFL season, Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger have been front and center of a scandal involving illicit text messages, voice mails, and inappropriate photos.
Brett Favre Scandal – Will NFL Need One Last Thing From Favre?
Reportedly, the NFL may arrive to a decision in the investigation this week on whether Brett Favre sent Jenn Sterger inappropriate photos of himself back in 2008. Favre already admitted to the two voice mails, but not the photos.
A couple weeks ago Jenn Sterger gave the NFL “overwhelming material” in the league’s investigation. A month before that, Brett Favre had an interview with the NFL regarding his actions in the scandal. Last week it was also reported that the NFL enlisted the assistance of a forensics team to examine cell phone records between Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger back in 2008.
Chances are the NFL may interview Fave again to match evidence and answers provided by Jenn Sterger. Will this be the last request from the league in order to wrap up the investigation? John Clayton said the league hopes to wrap up the whole case by the end of this week.
Brett Favre Scandal – Second Interview Should Clear Up Any Extra Questions
If the league hopes to wrap up the final missing links in the in the Brett Favre investigation, will it be concluded by the end of the week if they want the Minnesota Vikings quarterback in for a second interview? By getting this one last thing from Brett Favre, that should clear up any extra questions lurking in the NFL’s mind. It makes sense to ask this one last thing from Favre to see if his stories match with Jenn Sterger’s.
The scandal has taken a lot of turns in the last three months. Most recently the managers of Jenn Sterger and Brett Favre have been arguing back and forth about the investigation hinging on money. Phil Reese, Sterger’s manager, claims that Favre’s manager, Bus Cook asked how much it would take “to make” the whole thing “go away.”
Hopefully this scandal between Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger will be wrapped up by the end of this week. It’s certainly taking a while to pin down whether or not texts and photos from a cell phone are legit or not. Will the NFL need one more interview with Brett Favre? If so, will the investigation even be concluded by the end of the week? So far, the investigation is moving quite slow!
