- 1 and 1/2 cup light (50% less fat) margarine OR 3/4 cup olive oil and 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup Splenda or Truvia
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation Time: Less than 10 minutes
While mixing ingredients preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Soften margarine in microwave first or leave out to soften.
Mix sugars and (margarine OR olive oil) together with large spoon until creamy, then, add all other ingredients and mix until well blended.
Prepare a medium sized baking dish or pan by either spraying with cooking oil or using wax paper to spread any type of oil or margarine inside pan.
Spread mixed ingredients into prepared baking pan.
Bake until sides are firm and tooth pick comes out clean in the middle. Approximately 20 minutes.
