While the title of this article may sound crazy in itself, there were a couple of out there pumpkins I found using candy corn and pumpkins.
Some would argue that this is a waste of candy corn. I’m not a fan of this too popular Halloween candy. It’s too sweet for my taste. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking those who like candy corn; nor am I taking up for the folks who used it for making their pumpkins for a Halloween contest. I thought these two pumpkins were creative with the use of candy corn.
However, I’m not sure I would have the patience to glue on three or four bags of these candies onto a pumpkin. I suppose if you’re not much of a carver when it comes to pumpkins and don’t care about using candy corn as a way to make a Halloween pumpkin, these two pumpkins could give you an idea of other ways to decorate pumpkins for Halloween.
It seems booth people had to glue the candy corn onto the pumpkins. They glued the flat end of the candy corn to the pumpkins. I’m not sure if they started at the top or bottom when applying the candy corn. I am also not sure in what direction they went in when cluing the corn. Fro example, around the circumference of the pumpkin, up and down or willy nilly.
Candy Corn Halloween Pumpkins
Two pumpkins I found made for decorating for Halloween. Both pumpkins were created for contests.
This is one odd looking carved pumpkin with candy corn glued to the pumpkin. Kind of reminds me of “Pinhead” and a porcupine combined. From what I gather from the website, this candy corn pumpkin was a winner from a contest for extreme pumpkins in 2007.
Pumpkin Painting – Candy Corn Pumpkin
I wish I could have found this particular candy corn pumpkin as a picture by itself, but the only place I could find it listed was on tagyerit.com. You will need to scroll down until you find the section of pumpkins created by Melinda and Kenny Johnston. This candy corn pumpkin was the first of the two I found. This candy corn pumpkin was also made in 2007. Even scrolling through the pictures of Halloween pumpkins may give you an idea or two for other ways to decorate them.
