Apparently all the thugs in Carroll Gardens work in teams.
Two teenagers robbed a 30-year-old man on October 4 on Coffey Street near Van Brunt. The attack occurred just after midnight and was rather a quick experience. One of the teen thugs grabbed the victim’s bag, instructed him not to move or speak, and made off with his debit cards, $41 in cash, cell phone, glasses, keys, and medication.
The next night on Warren Street a 27-year-old victim was attacked by two women. Around 9:00 PM on October 5, the victim was struck with a blunt object and the two girl goons tried to take her purse. Something scared them off and no robbery was made. Strangely enough, this is the second time in two weeks that a pair of women has been the culprit.
A 42-year-old livery cab driver was robbed at gunpoint on Bond Street near Butler on October 10. The victim was dropping a pair of men at about 12:20 AM when one of them flashed a gun and asked for the driver’s money. The victim complied and the pair made off with his Seiko watch and more than $250 in cash.
