Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes are dainty little English tea cookies that have a delicious molasses and ginger taste that will put you in a good mood in a snap. The filling is a creamy lemon crème that is not too bitter but tastes delicious with the zesty ginger.
I bought my Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes at Publix Grocery store for my review. They were located with alongside some of the healthier and organic cookies and crackers.
If you are having a holiday or Christmas party and don’t have time to bake, serve the Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes along with other Christmas cookies such as sugar cookies and chocolate crinkles.

No. 2: Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes ingredients: Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, vitamin B1, riboflavin , folic acid, sugar, partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oils, cane syrup, dextrose monohydrate, skim milk, cornstarch, molasses, leavening , salt, lemon extract, citric acid, ginger extract.
No. 3: Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes nutritional facts: 5 grams of fat in two cookies, a serving. It also contains 95 mg sodium, 20 carbs, no fiber, 11 grams of sugar and 1 gram of protein.
No. 4: Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes allergens: The product is not gluten free. It does contain soy, wheat and milk.
No. 5: Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes are just one of the many Carr’s products. They also make cheese melts, rosemary crackers, poppy and sesame crackers and table water crackers. Carr’s was started by Jonathan Carr in England in 1831 as Carr’s Biscuits.
Carr’s Ginger Lemon cookies make a tasty after-school snack or treat for the lunchbox. They have an old-fashioned taste that is hard for find in the cookie aisle of the grocery store.
Carr’s Ginger Lemon cookies are similar to homemade ginger snaps, but contain that creamy lemon filling. My son, who does not typically like spicy foods, still liked the Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes. They are the best store bought cookies or store bought Christmas cookies for a holiday party or any day of the week.
I give the Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes 4.8 out of five stars for taste.
