With Jimmy T voted off last week from the Espada tribe, the elder tribe is on a downward slide.
Marty is all proud of himself for getting rid of Jimmy T and NaOnka is all up in herself because her tribe is really doing well. But tonight the first thing on the agenda was to reorder the tribes. They had to drop their buffs and pick a rock from a bag and not look at it. After one had a blue and one had a yellow rock; they got to choose their new teammates. The captains were Brenda and Holly. Brenda got to choose three people from the older tribe and Holly got to choose four members from the younger tribe. Now from the older tribe joining the younger tribe was: Jane, Jill and Marty. The younger members joining the elder tribe were: Alina, Benry, Chase and NaOnka. Old versus young is done and the medallion of power is no more.
For the reward challenge the tribes had to throw a ball up a steep ramp and the rest of the team had to catch them as they zigzagged through a maze of blocks. Whoever dropped the ball lost a point and the team dropping three balls first lost the reward challenge. Marty dropped the last ball and Espada won the reward which was a rooster and two chickens.
At the Espada tribe, Tyrone tries to take over and shows them the rules. The new members do not appreciate that because at their other tribe, there were no rules. Alina and NaOnka are getting along better now that she is separated from Brenda and Kelly Purple; it is also great that Kelly B does not have to deal with NaOnka’s nastiness.
The La Flor tribe is getting to know each other and Marty is acting like the big cheese and even shows everyone the immunity idol. Brenda is not impressed with his actions.
The Espada tribe is suffering from the poor shelter conditions. NaOnka goes from being the bully to the pussy cat who cannot take the cold and wet. She tells Alina that she wants to go home.
The immunity challenge had a water wheel where three tribe members were tied to the wheel and each one’s head would be temporarily under water. When under the water, they had to fill their mouth with as much water as they could and then as the wheel turned, they would spit out the water into a funnel. Once the funnel filled up a tube, it would release a ball. The other members of the tribe had to use the ball to break tiles and the first team to break all their tiles wins immunity.
La Flor won the challenge and Espada had to evict a tribe member. Back at the Espada camp the decision is to either send NaOnka home as she desires or get rid of Tyrone who tries to be the boss. They all decide to kill one of the chickens and Tyrone is the only no vote, but intimidation factor aside, they kill the chicken and Tyrone eats more than the rest of the tribe which cements his position.
At tribal council Tyrone gets voted out.
The New Espada tribe is as follows:
Alina Wilson is 24 years old and dislikes anyone who calls her “hun” or “sweetie” so I guess she would not like me, and wants to prove that she is not just another pretty face.
