You can change the article preferences to what you want in Vivvo CMS. These settings allow you to have control over what is shown on articles when they are published. You can change these preferences, but you can override them when you add a new article. These will be your default preferences for every new article you create and add to your site unless you override it when you create the article. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to change your article preferences in Vivvo CMS.
You will need to load your preferences section for your articles to get started. Follow these steps to load the article preferences page. Login as the admin of the site. In the top, right corner of your page, you will see the Preferences link. It is a small, blue link in the top part of the page. Once you click the link, the page will reload and you will see a box on the left side of the page. In the box, look for the Articles button and click it. You are now on your articles preferences page.
On the right side of the page, you will see the box with three tabs. Click the Article tab and you will see your preferences. Below are a list of the preferences and a brief description of each one.
Show Ratings – Articles can be rated by visitors to your site. If you want to allow visitors to rate your articles and the ratings to show, you will need to click Yes in this section.
Show Date – This preference is asking if you want to publish the date along with the article. If you choose yes, you will see the date the article was published on the site. If you click No, then you will not see a date.
Show Author – If you want the author of the article to be posted, you can click the Yes option in this section. If you would prefer the author not be shown, you can click the No option.
Show Author Info – This is asking if you want to post the authors information along with the articles. This will include the author’s name and email address. Click Yes to show it and No to not show it.
When you are finished with the above preferences, you can click the Save button at the bottom of the page to update your preferences for your articles.
