Cher is sexy at 64 and “Vanity Fair” has an interview coming out about her shortly. Cher admits that she herself can’t believe she’s at an age she always thought her mother was at. Entertainment Tonight had an inside look at Cher’s in-depth interview with the magazine due out November 9th.
The entertainer who’s been a mega star since the 60’s turned “If I Could Turn Back Time” a hit in 1989. She proved then that she was unstoppable at any age. It’s hard for her to believe she’s 64.
“I’m 64. That’s the age my mother always was. How did I get to be my mother’s age?” she told “Vanity Fair.”
Cher addresses several aspects of her life in her interview with Vanity Fair. Some tidbits of the interview were aired on Entertainment Tonight Tuesday night
“I remember being really ashamed of my clothes…I remember going to school with rubber bands around my shoes to keep my soles on.”
Her mother was married multiple times and one moment they’d be eating beans and the next they would be in the privileged world of Beverly Hills.
When it comes to her deceased ex-husband, Sonny Bono, Cher said one of the reasons they had problems was he…..”treating me more like the golden goose than like his wife.” The two had a bond in spite of the separate lives they lived in Hollywood’s spotlight.
Cher said in the interview she didn’t like drugs that much:
“I tried a couple of drugs, but I never felt good out of control. I have the constitution of a fruit fly.”
The “Vanity Fair” feature of Cher reveals more about her than previous interviews. She looks amazing at 64 and probably won’t change when she hits 74.
