That’s right, Cheryl’s Global Soul, the “cozy café” at 236 Underhill right around the corner from Grand Army Plaza, is now able to serve alcohol on the back porch according to reports from the folks at Prospect Heights Patch.
The owner of Cheryl’s Global Soul, Cheryl Smith, went before Community Board 8 on Thursday Oct 14th and was given approval for the appropriate license.
Cheryl’s has been a neighborhood affordable favorite since opening in 2006, serving up all kinds of good stuff with “international accents.”
“Cheryl’s cooking features world spices, blended, toasted and ground to create” a world fusion flavor.” And Cheryl’s always had a full bar, of course, with signature cocktails, punches and sangrias, only now diners will be able to sip these wonderful libations while dining on the back porch.
Now Prospect Heights foodies can really have it all at Cheryl’s.
