Thickly sliced bacon
Dark or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Candy Melts
Fork or Whisk
First, preheat your oven at 400 degrees. While the oven is heating take your roasting pan and line it with aluminum foil; for easy clean up later.
Now, place the wire rack in pan and lay the bacon strips onto the rack. Leaving space in between each strip. Cook bacon for approximately 10-17 minutes or until bacon reaches desired crispiness, place aside to cool.
Next, take a baking pan, layer it with wax paper and set it aside for later. Then, grab a bowl and place a handful of chocolate melts inside. Take the chocolate and microwave it for approximately 30 seconds. Whisk the chocolate until it is loose.
Now, begin to dip each strip of bacon into the chocolate. Fully cover it with chocolate and place it on the wax paper covered pan. Repeat until all the bacon is covered leaving space between each strip on the pan.
Finally refrigerate the pan of chocolate covered strips for approximately 30 minutes. Or until the chocolate has hardened, enjoy!
