This recipe is super simple and will make a chocolate fondue that is really scrumptious. Great for dipping strawberries or anything else !!
16 ounces milk chocolate (you can use chocolate chips)
3/4 cup heavy cream (heavy whipping cream)
3 tbsp good quality brandy
Combine chocolate and the heavy cream in heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat and stir until the chocolate is completely melted. Make sure to use low heat so the mixture doesn’t burn. Stir in the brandy and remove from the heat. If the fondue is too thick you can add a bit more whipping cream.
** This recipe can also be used to make truffles.
Simply chill the chocolate mixture overnight so it will be firm, and then roll the chocolate into truffles. Roll the truffles in cocoa, powdered sugar, or chopped pecans or walnuts. Keep refrigerated until just before time to serve.
